Description
Salary: Members will be remunerated for preparation and attendance of meetings (in line with Treasury Regulations par. 20.2.3).
Requirements
Applicants should: Have a relevant degree in Accounting/Auditing/Risk/ Legal/ Information Technology. A relevant postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage. At least 10 yearsβ experience in a senior / executive role in Accounting /Auditing/ Legal / Information Technology / Risk and Compliance environments. At least 5-10 yearsβ experience of serving in Audit Committees or Risk Committees in the Public Sector. Membership of a professional body in the respective fields will be an added advantage. Knowledge: PFMA, Modified Cash Standards, GRAP or GAAP. Attributes: Integrity, dedication, understanding public sector business and controls, good communication skills, inquisitiveness and independent judgment.
