CHIEF ENGINEER: MECHANICAL (GRADE A)

Salary: R1 317 108 per annum, (all-inclusive salary package), (total to be structured in accordance with the rules of the OSD)

A minimum of Engineering degree (B Eng/ BSC (Eng) or relevant qualification. Six years post qualification experience. Compulsory registration with Relevant council (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer. A valid driver's license. Knowledge of mechanical engineering best practices and aspects of the building and construction environment, extensive knowledge and experience in the development, implementation and oversight of recovery plans when projects are lagging. Knowledge of PFMA, OHSA Supply Chain Management, Contract Management, good technical and innovative problem- solving abilities. Computer literacy and experience in the application of Mechanical Engineering software in the use of dashboards to track progress. Good interpersonal and negotiation skills. Applied knowledge of all Built Environment legislatives/ regulating requirements. Excellent writing and presentation skills. The ability/ willingness to travel.
