Description

Salary: R1 317 384 per annum. This inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary, the states’ contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and a flexible portion that may be structured i.t.o. the applicable rules. The successful candidate will be required to enter into a performance agreement and to sign an employment contract.

Requirements

An appropriate NQF level 7 qualification in the field of Development Studies/ Social Sciences as recognised by SAQA Plus 5 years’ experience at middle/ senior management in the relevant field. Knowledge of the Constitution of South Africa. Knowledge of the relevant Public Service Act and Regulation. Knowledge and understanding of White Paper on Social Welfare. Knowledge and understanding of Anti-Poverty Strategy. Knowledge of the Public Service Legislative frameworks. Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations. Knowledge and understanding of the NPO Act. Knowledge and understanding of involvement in international structures/ stakeholders (UN Convention and AU). Knowledge and understanding of National Development Plan (NDP). Knowledge and understanding of National Development Agency Act. Knowledge and understanding of National Youth Commission Act. Knowledge and understanding of National Youth Development Framework. Knowledge and understanding of National Youth Policy. Knowledge and understanding of District Development Model.
