Requirements
National Senior certificate. A basic R425 qualification (i.e., diploma/ degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse, and current registration with SANC. A post-basic qualification with a duration of at least one year, accredited with SANC in Trauma Nursing Specialty. A minimum of 4 years of appropriate/recognized experience in nursing after registration as a professional nurse with SANC in general nursing. At least 1 year of the period referred to above must be appropriate/recognizable experience working in Accident & Emergency after obtaining the one-year post-basic qualification in the Trauma Specialty. Competencies: Good communication skills, verbal and written. Know the ideal hospital realization and maintenance framework. Computer literacy.
