Basic nursing qualification with SANC registration which is a diploma /degree in nursing. Post basic qualification Speciality in advanced midwifery and neonatal nursing science/child nursing. Minimum of 9 years appropriate recognisable experience in nursing after registration as professional nurse with SANC registration. At least 5 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate experience after obtaining the one year post basic qualifications in the relevant speciality (advanced midwifery and neonatal nursing science/child nursing). Diploma or degree in nursing administration registered with SANC is a requirement. Current registration with SANC. Computer literacy.
